## Our History
TLC is a private pay community, and since [**opening our doors in 2020**](https://tlcrockford.com/about/our-history), it has become a regionally recognized leader in assisted living care in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin region. As the recipient of several consecutive awards for outstanding senior care and wellness, we’ve established ourselves as a regional leader in the assisted living space. Our campus features **[62 state-of-the-art assisted living apartments](https://tlcrockford.com/floor-plans)** in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans, with a wide range of amenities and services all under one roof.
