How we built your home

TLC Assisted Living Community opened its doors in March 2020 on a six-acre campus just north of Rockford, Illinois, in the small town of Machesney Park. Just a stone’s throw away from a vibrant shopping and entertainment district, TLC Assisted Living is easily accessible via Interstate 39 and Interstate 90, making it a convenient place to call home.

Our campus houses 62 state-of-the-art assisted living apartments available in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. Each apartment includes:

  • Stylish, in-unit ADA bathrooms with walk-in showers

  • Kitchenettes

  • Spacious walk-in closets

  • Living areas complete with the latest decor and amenities

TLC has received numerous national awards and recognitions for our commitment and dedication to providing the highest quality senior care and wellness programs.

What assisted living means to us

TLC Assisted Living embodies connection and community by offering everything our residents need under one roof — from salon services to entertainment to casual and restaurant-style dining options.

With an emphasis on wellness, hospitality, and security, we offer residents the essential support and guidance to help them maintain an active, fulfilling lifestyle.

A Word from Our Director

TLC offers seniors the perfect balance of independence and support, helping them maintain a fulfilling lifestyle without the stress of managing everything alone. With access to personalized care, daily assistance, and on-site medical support, residents can feel safe and confident in their day-to-day lives. Beyond care, TLC provides opportunities for social connection, engaging activities, and a sense of belonging—reducing isolation and improving overall well-being. For many seniors and their families, it brings peace of mind knowing that help is always available while still allowing individuals to live with dignity, comfort, and purpose.
